Excel homes are available through independent builders in your area who have promised to follow Excel's guidelines in the preparation of your site, construction of your foundation, assembly of the building modules, and final finishing of your home.
Just as in "traditional" construction, where you would not deal with the lumberyard directly, you only work with your Excel builder when you decide on an Excel home. You decide on the specifications and options for your new Excel home with your builder, and your builder takes care of the rest of the process. Your Excel builder will take care of all the site work for your home, including your home's foundation installation. Your Excel builder will purchase the modules manufactured by Excel. When they arrive at your foundation, the modules for your Excel home may be as much as 90% completed with carpet, cabinets, doors, siding, etc. already installed. Naturally, the type or design of the home and materials you choose with your builder can affect the level of completion of the modules at the Excel facility and your builder may have more or less work to do in order to complete your home.

Excel will provide your builder with all the information he or she needs to answer all your questions and to discuss specifications, prices, and other relevant information with you.
Excel offers an extensive line of home plans, which are available to builders. In addition, we maintain a full engineering department and will be delighted to modify plans to suit your special preferences. Or give your builder your ideas.
